about me

hi!!

hi, i'm mishka <3 i'm an artist and a student. i'm currently studying computer science and visual arts at ubc. i like making things visually and digitally, and i really enjoy the weird overlap between art and technology. this site is kinda like that.

most of my art starts with me being curious about something or having a sudden burst of passion to start something new (and spend all my money on supplies). i've worked with charcoal, ink, digital art, animation, and a few others, but lately i've been especially interested in fountain pens and collecting unreasonable amounts of beautiful ink.

i've also been drawing for pretty much as long as i can remember. when i was younger, i'd cover printer paper with drawings and spend hours playing games with my brothers. not much as changed. i still draw constantly, in my a6 midori notebook, and i still spend an embarrassing amount of time playing video games (on my beautiful sexy pc i built myself).

outside of art and school, i love crocheting, playing cult of the lamb, and spending all my money on yarn and steam sales. i made this website because i wanted a personal space to put my finished work as well as wips, random interests, doodles, and whatever else i feel like sharing.
